DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF VISITS NAVAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Deputy Chief of Staff Visits Naval Institute of Technology
Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Buddika Liyanagamage, visited the Naval Institute of Technology (NIT) on 10th September 2026. He was welcomed at the entrance by the Commanding Officer of SLNS Thakshila, Capt RMRS Bandara; the Director of Studies, NIT, Capt (L) SSH Bandara; and officers and staff. The Director of Studies, NIT, presented a briefing on NIT, its performance, and ongoing matters. After the presentation, the DCOS conducted a ship visit. Following refreshments at the wardroom with officers, he departed after leaving a note in the visitors' book, stating that he was satisfied with NIT's commendable endeavors.
