BOOK AWARDING CEREMONY OF 19TH INTAKE ARTIFICERS

As part of the Passing Out Parade of the 19th Intake Artificer Apprentices, a book awarding ceremony was held on 8th September 2023 at the NIT Auditorium to felicitate the Artificers who had shown excellence in various fields throughout their training.

The event consisted of a Course Brief by the Course Officer (Engineering) and a thanking speech by APP (ER) I LDR Madhusanka, the best Artificer of the Intake.

Cdr (E) RS De Zoysa, Director of Studies, who distributed the book prizes, speaking to the Apprentices present at the ceremony also encouraged them to excel in their respective academic and extra-curricular activities and strive to achieve excellence similar to the 19th Intake who passed out.

The book prize winners are as follows:

1. Highest Aggregate in Marine Engineering

2. Highest Aggregate in Electrical Engineering

3. Highest Aggregate in Hull Repair & Ship Construction Engineering

4. Best Marksman

5. Best Sportsman

6. Best Apprentice
