APPRENTICES OF THE NAVAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY VISIT JAPAN MARITIME SELF-DEFENSE FORCE SHIPS BUNGO (MST-464) AND ETAJIMA (MSO-306) - 2025.

On 01st April 2025, the Japan Maritime Self-Défense Force (JMSDF) ships Bungo (MST-464) and Etajima (MSO-306) arrived at the Port of Colombo for a replenishment visit. In keeping with naval traditions, the Sri Lanka Navy warmly welcomed the visiting vessels. Apprentices from the Naval Institute of Technology had the opportunity to visit the ships and gain valuable insights into JMSDF operations and naval diplomacy.
