The Naval Institute of Technology hosted its much-anticipated Inter House Athletic Championship on 22nd June 2026, drawing spirited participation from the three competing houses-Plato, Tesla, and Nobel-in an atmosphere brimming with energy and fair play.
Chief Guest Captain (L) SSH Bandara, Director of Studies of NIT, officially inaugurated the sports meet. The seamless execution of the meet was made possible through the diligent efforts of Sports Officer Lcdr ELA Maduranga and the committed Physical Training Instructors of the institute. Throughout the day, a diverse range of track and field events unfolded, offering a platform for students to demonstrate their grit, collaborative spirit, and raw athletic prowess.
The high caliber of competition on display ensured the championship was both fiercely contested and truly unforgettable.
